First established as a care home in 1986 and now managed by family-run care providers Coate Water Care, Woodstock Care and Nursing Home provides exceptional residential, day care and respite care, including 24-hour care for people living with dementia. Our qualified nurses and experienced carers also provide specialist care for residents with palliative care needs. We have an exemplary reputation in the Gloucester area and are committed to maintaining the very highest standards.
A physically active lifestyle can significantly improve people’s quality of life at all stages of dementia. Our Activity Coordinators organise age-appropriate pastimes and entertainment that residents enjoy and want to participate in.
Some people enjoy sitting peacefully with their favourite carer, others prefer to be more active. And there’s certainly plenty of choice at Woodstock: live music sessions, hair & beauty treatment, baking classes, Christmas and birthday parties, theatre trips, exercise sessions and day trips to the seaside.
