About Mockley Manor Care Home

Quality Care Services from Dedicated Professionals

Run by family-run providers Coate Water Care since 2012, Mockley Manor has undergone extensive refurbishment in order to provide the perfect setting for quality residential care and respite care, including 24-hour nursing care for people living with dementia. Our qualified nurses and experienced carers also provide specialist care for residents with palliative care needs. Since 2016, we also offer first-class Day Care.

Keeping active and having fun in style at Mockley Manor

Mockley Manor has been recognised as an official ‘Dignity Champion’ by the Dignity in Care network, which confirms that our staff believe passionately that being treated with dignity is a basic human right, not an optional extra. Our experienced Activities Coordinator organises special events, outings and parties for residents, their families and friends. We take time to find out what residents enjoy and try to incorporate their hobbies into their daily routine. People especially enjoy watching their favourite movies in our brand-new cinema suite.

A physically active lifestyle can significantly improve people’s quality of life at all stages of dementia. Some residents enjoy sitting peacefully with their favourite carer in our lovely conservatory overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Others keep active with live music sessions, baking classes, sensory gardening, hair & beauty treatment, theatre trips and exercise sessions. We even keep our own chickens!

People told us they were happy living at the home, because the staff were friendly and thoughtful. ‘Staff are kind to me’, ‘They make you happy and make you smile’ and ‘The girls are lovely and very helpful’. Relatives said, ‘It’s like an extension of home’ and ‘the staff are absolutely amazing’.
