“Home Sweet Home” in a picturesque Wiltshire location

Avebury House sits in a small residential area on the banks of the Kennet and Avon Canal and enjoys views over adjacent farmland. The home has wrap around grounds which boast private and secure gardens overlooking the canal. The home takes its name from the nearby village of Avebury, home to the Neolithic stone circle.

Avebury House currently has two double rooms and forty one single rooms, all en-suite, with a choice of bath or shower. The home has a large lounge with doors opening onto the extensive gardens. There is a separate dining room and our very experienced chef consults with residents about menu choices and prepares fresh food on site with a seasonal menu. A range of drinks and snacks are available all day.

Our manager Amanda Timms is a very experienced manager with a track record of providing excellent care. Our experienced Activities Coordinator will organise special events, outings and parties for residents, their families and friends. We take time to find out what residents enjoy and try to incorporate their hobbies into their daily routine. Hairdressing facilities are also available. “We care because you care.”

“People received exceptional support from caring staff who treated people and their relatives with utmost kindness. Coate Water Care set out exceptionally caring values and there was evidence that all staff worked to this aim as people were at the heart of the service delivery.”*
