“Home Sweet Home” in the peaceful Hampshire countryside
We are proud to provide outstanding personalised care to people with dementia in a privileged environment in the peaceful Hampshire countryside. Whilst a dementia diagnosis can mean an uncertain and even distressing time, our carers are on hand to offer vital round-the-clock support and Arbory is a ‘home’ where we would be happy for our own loved ones to live. In recent years, the buildings and gardens have received a makeover with the evolving needs and abilities of our residents in mind, and at Coate Water Care we know that being the best demands a commitment to ongoing improvement.

Arbory Residential Home – Keeping active and entertained
Arbory’s full-time Activities Coordinator leads a stimulating programme of events tailored to the capabilities and preferences of each individual resident. Every morning our staff get the residents moving using seated physical activities and through the day residents can participate in musical bingo, gardening, baking, flower-arranging and needlework, whilst professional musicians or scheduled film nights provide light entertainment. Outings are an important part of the activities programme and a wheelchair-friendly minibus can be arranged, which means that no-one is left at home, whether it’s for a picnic around the lake, a visit to the garden centre or a meal at the local pub.

“A quality assurance questionnaire completed by residents and their relatives in 2022 generated outstanding or good feedback about the care provided. Staff know the residents well and treat them with courtesy and kindness and are responsive to their needs. There is a strong registered manager who leads by example. The home is safe and well-trained ‘lovely’ staff are deployed to effectively meet the needs of people and to offer support on a one-to-one basis.”
