All Coate Water Care homes are now rated ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ by CQC

Arbory Residential Home in Hampshire has received a ‘Good’ rating in its latest Care Quality Commission (CQC) report, which means that all nine Coate Water Care homes in Swindon, Wiltshire and beyond now have either ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ ratings from the CQC.

The CQC is the independent regulatory body for the care industry in England. It makes sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care.

“We are absolutely delighted that Arbory Residential Home has received its ‘Good’ rating again and the fact that all of our homes now have ‘Outstanding’ or ‘Good’ ratings make us extremely proud,” says Geraldine Smith, Coate Water Care CEO and co-founder.

“We opened our first care home in 1995 with the aim of providing outstanding, personalized care to all our residents, and as a family-run concern that philosophy has not changed one iota as we have expanded to nine homes.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the staff at Arbory Residential Home for the exceptional care they provide. They are the people that make it a place where we would be happy to have our own loved ones if they were in need of care and that has always been our criteria from day one.”

Amanda Timms, Arbory Home Manager, echoes Geraldine’s sentiments. “It is no secret that the last few months have been challenging for care homes during the pandemic, so I would like to dedicate this latest CQC report to my staff, who have worked extremely hard to maintain their usual high standards of professionalism and keep all our residents safe and well.”

Arbory Residential Home is located in the heart of rolling English countryside near to Andover in Hampshire and offers quality residential care, day care and respite care, including 24-hour care for people living with dementia.

Coate Water Care’s other eight ‘Outstanding’ and ‘Good’ residential care homes are Ashbury Lodge, Church View and Downs View in Swindon, Chapel House and Woodstock in Gloucester, Avebury House in Devizes, Mockley Manor in Warwickshire and Westley Court in Worcestershire.
